Over the weekend I got a lot of stuff completed with the Getnoo install. I got Xorg configured, KDE setup and installed, Firefox installed, and Open Office installed. It is getting close. I had school last night, so unfortunately I did not have a lot of time to work on it. I did however recompile binutils with -O2 and then I recompiled the kernel with -O3. I finished the rest of the setup and rebooted my computer this morning with my new Gentoo. Of course, I still have a lot of setting up to do, but it is getting close.

Hey Everyone, I got home last night and my power was back on! Yeah! I had to restart the Gentoo install from scratch though. Everything went find until I ran emerge system. I got an error about C++ failing a sanity check. I read the forums on Gentoo.com and I someone else had the same problem.
